PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve startability of a stationary engine at low temperature starting. SOLUTION: The stationary engine 1 comprises a separate lubrication oil tank 2 for storing lubrication oil to be supplied to the engine 1, a pair of pipes 3A, 3B connecting the engine 1 and the lubrication tank 2, a on-off valve 4 provided in the middle of one pipe 3A, a three-way valve 5 and a lubrication pump 6 provided in the middle of the other pipe 3B, and a lubrication oil heating means 7 disposed in the middle of a pipe 3C connecting a remaining port of the three-way valve 5 and the lubrication oil tank 2.
