PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide facility which is economically installed without requiring a huge supporting member and does not form a blind and creates environment where people go down to a water area and become friendly with water. SOLUTION: The tide facility comprises an energy absorbing surface body 1 installed to be directed to the direction from which a high tide comes from and a water-stopping surface body 2 formed nearer to the inner land than the energy absorbing surface body 1 and installed to be directed to the direction from which the high tide comes from. The energy absorbing surface body 1 is constituted of a porous body with dispersed through holes. The water-stopping surface body 2 is constituted of a non-porous body having no through holes.
