PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side sliding door supporting structure capable of suppressing the occurrence of rattling noise not only when a side slide door is fully closed or fully opened but also while the side slide door is opened or closed. SOLUTION: This side sliding door supporting structure comprises side rails 21 disposed on the sides of a vehicle in the longitudinal direction, arms 18 secured to the side slide doors 12 and the end of which are disposed toward the side rails 21, radial roller 23 fitted to the ends of the arms 18, rotatable in the vertical plane including the side rails 21, rolling on the side rails 21 when the side slide doors are opened or closed, and supporting the side slide doors 12, and thrust rollers 25 fitted to the ends of the arms 18, rotatable in the vertical plane, rotating in contact with the side rails 21 when the side slide doors are opened or closed, and guiding the side slide doors 12 along the side rails 21. The bottom surface parts of the side rails 21 on which the radial rollers 23 roll are formed in tilted surfaces which are higher on the outside of a cabin and lower on the inside of the cabin.
