PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a temporary holding member, and to extend the length of a sheet material wound up inside a winding-up space. SOLUTION: This temporary holding structure is provided with the temporary holding member 21 for temporarily holding a sheet material 5 which has a printing layer provided on one side of a sheet-shaped base material and printed by a printing part 12 and a heat-sensitive adhesive layer on the other side. The temporarily holding member 21 has the cylindrical winding-up space 21a for winding up the sheet material 5 with the heat-sensitive adhesive layer facing the inner peripheral side. A sheet-shaped guide member 22 for guiding the sheet material 5 entering the winding-up space 21a is provided along the inner peripheral face of the temporary holding member 21.
