PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life cutting blade for cutting a sponge-like titanium cake, by which the cutting speed is not affected and the blade edge is not easily damaged (broken or chipped), in a cutting step of the sponge-like titanium cake. SOLUTION: In a single-edge-type or a double-edge-type cutting blade for cutting the sponge-like titanium cake used as a cutting blade on a chaff-cutter press, the cutting blade satisfies an expression (1) or an expression (3), described below. The expression (1) is expressed by: 2.0 mm≤width of flat section of the blade edge (C)≤11.0 mm. The expression (3) is expressed by: 2.5 mm≤thickness at 1 mm above blade edge (A)≤12.0 mm. When the cutting blade satisfies an expression (2) or an expression (4), described below, the life of the blade can be further extended. The expression (2) is expressed by: 3.5 mm≤width of flat section of the blade edge (C)≤10.0 mm. The expression (4) is expressed by: 4.0 mm≤thickness at 1 mm above from the blade edge (A)≤11.0 mm.
