PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article which secures a comfortable wearing touch while improving the close fitness around legs of a user. SOLUTION: The elastomer 34 is disposed on flaps 33 and 33 and a pair of leg encircles 27 and 27 is formed on both sides of a hole part 25 across its width. With the shrinking of the first elastomer 34, the leg encircling absorbers 27 and 27 come to fit closely on the skin of the user through a surface sheet 2, thereby enabling the prevention of spillage. The first elastomer 34 is kept from pressing directly onto the crotch of the user to achieve a better wearing touch. The formation of a recess 31 allows the location of an inner pat separately used at a proper position by being placed on it. The recess 31 without no absorbent 4 can restricts increase in the thickness to secure the comfortable wearing touch. Even in the case of using no inner pad, with the shrinking of the second elastomer 36, the leg encircling absorbers 27 and 27 come to fit closely on the crotch of the user, thereby enabling the accurate prevention of spillage.
