ORTHOSIS FOR SUPPORTING A LEG OF A USER DURING WALKING

An orthosis for supporting a leg of a user during walking, comprising a trunk engaging part, a foot engaging part, and a first connecting part, the trunk engaging part being designed for engaging the trunk of a user, the foot engaging part being designed for engaging a foot of the leg of the user, and the first connecting part extending between the trunk engaging part and the foot engaging part. The first connecting part is at least partly flexible and comprises a first elastic part which, in use, is biased such that the trunk engaging part and the foot engaging part are drawn towards each other. The orthosis is designed such that, in use, the first connecting part, in a longitudinal direction of the leg in the direction from the foot engaging part to the trunk engaging part, extends at least for a part along a front side of the lower leg and, thereupon, extends at least for a part along a rear side of the upper leg.
