<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal that enables a user, who uses the portable communication terminal in a dark place, to easily shift to a disconnection operation of a communication connection. <P>SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal is provided with a disconnection key operated by the user, a transmitting/receiving part 101, a sound detection part 102, a timer 107, a state information detection part, a control part, and a lighting device 104 for an operation part. The sound detection part 102 issues a sound insensitivity signal by detecting that a sound signal during a communication connection in-between another communication device has a magnitude less than a prescribed threshold. The timer 107 counts time at a fixed-time interval in response to the sound insensitivity signal. The state information detection part detects the state information based on a relative position with respect to the user in response to the sound insensitivity signal. The control part determines whether or not the relative position in-between the user is more than a threshold by referring to the state information for each fixed-time interval so as to issue a clearing notification signal when the relative position is more than the threshold.
