<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform area destination capable of acquiring a desired video concerning a system for segmenting the video of the desired area from a panoramic video. <P>SOLUTION: An arbitrary-viewpoint video distribution device segments the video which is wider than the area indicated by a receiver from the panoramic video, and distributes it. The receiver receives the video and performs re-segmentation, based on the latest area indication, so as to eliminate a time till the reflection of an operation due to various kinds of delay.
