PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal unlocking structure in which a terminal is surely locked in a terminal housing room and in which release workability by a release fixture can be improved, and a connector using this structure. SOLUTION: The terminal unlocking structure is provided with the terminal 1 in which an electric wire W is caulked, the connector 7 to house the terminal 1 in the terminal housing room 5 by a locking lance 3, and the release fixture 9 for unlocking at pulling out the terminal 1 housed in the connector 7. The terminal 1 has a terminal connecting part 11 to be connected to the counter terminal (not illustrated), an electric wire caulking part 13 in which the electric wire is caulked, a locking part 15 engaged with the locking lance 3 of the connector 7, and a protrusion 17 which protrudes to the locking lance 3 side, and contacts the locking lance 3 at sliding the terminal 1 in the insertion direction and bends the locking lance 3 in a release direction of engagement with the locking part 15.
