PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus which secures display quality of a liquid crystal panel while suppressing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A driving circuit 10 of the liquid crystal panel 2 is arranged on a glass substrate 3. A power supply IC 15 for supplying electric power to the driving circuit 10 is mounted on an FPC 8 to be electrically connected to the liquid crystal panel 2 and an external image output IC 18 of the liquid crystal panel 2. Since the liquid crystal panel 2 can be driven by the driving circuit 10 on the glass substrate 3 without using a comparatively expensive driver IC for driving the liquid crystal panel 2, the manufacturing costs can be suppressed. Improvement in accuracy of the power supply IC 15 becomes also possible by arranging the power supply IC 15 on the FPC 8, so the display quality of the liquid crystal panel 2 can be secured.
