The lock (100) has a bi-stable lifting magnet (18), which is arranged at the actuator (5) for its movement. The lifting magnet coupled with an armature (17) is balanced over a spring (19) to a pawl (8), which moves the actuator. The lifting magnet, the armature as well as the pawl are present at the same axle (20). The lifting magnet has two coils such that one coil (18a) has many turns for small amperage. The other coil (18b) has a small number of turns for larger amperage.
