PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an animation and a video other than the animation to be simultaneously displayed on a display. SOLUTION: When an RF signal is inputted from an RF signal input terminal 2 in a digital broadcasting receiver 1, a DIV 8 distributes the RF signal to an RF signal output terminal 3 and a detector/demodulator 9. The detector/demodulator 9 receives the RF signal from the DIV 8, demodulates the signal, acquires a transport stream, and gives it to a TS decoder 10. An application processor 11 receives the transport stream, extracts animation information, generates animation data which express the movement of an animation character on an animation plane for the animation, and gives the data to a video synthesizer 12 and a sound synthesizer 13 together with various kinds of command data and reference data.
