USER INTERFACE DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, AND PROGRAM TO MAKE COMPUTER EXECUTE THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient user interface device which permits an easy visual confirmation of a finished entire layout of an image to be processed made up of a plurality of pages.

SOLUTION: In the user interface device 10, an analysis section 11 analyzes input information, an area generation section 12 generates the information of an area representation as a display demarcating an area occupied by information in a page at the time when the section outputs the input information and a finish generation section 13 displays a predicted finish in the form of a superimposition of the area representations of all pages in the operation display section 15. The operation display section 15 displays also processing items to be given to the input information and accepts the specification of processing from among the processing items. An image of a predicted finish after the specified processing is given is displayed in the operation display section 15 in a state that area representations of all pages are superimposed.
