PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which has the high video quality of video recording and is user-friendly used by avoiding the risk of a failure in video recording caused by image deterioration resulting from the shortage of the radio wave intensity of a portable television recorder and the impossibility of video recording or the like caused by battery exhaustion. SOLUTION: When the portable television recorder is connected communicably to a digital video recorder, video recording reservation information, viewing history information and video recording management information can be exchanged between the portable television recorder and the stationary type digital video recorder through a communication means. Thus, the digital video recorder can also refer to the reservation information and video management information of the portable television recorder to thereby perform information management such as the video recording reservation of video information, the erasure of the video information or the like on the basis of these pieces of information.
