PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing the adhesion, onto a product, of foreign matter derived from dusting from bearing of a roller for transferring a strip of flexible material, and dusting from a strip of flexible material end in the strip of flexible material per se. SOLUTION: This apparatus 10 for preventing the adhesion of foreign matter for use in a transfer line for transferring a strip of flexible material 12 using a plurality of rollers 14 comprises: a pair of partition plates 18, 18, disposed upright along a transfer direction A of the strip of flexible material 12 near both end positions of the strip of flexible material 12 so that a spacing Z is formed between the lower end of the partition plate 18 and the strip of flexible material 12; and the clean air supply means 16 supplying clean air through the pair of partition plates 18, 18 to form an air stream which is then discharged through the spacing Z.
