A first portion of an outer wall overlaps a second portion of the outer wall at a second narrow end and defines a seam. The first portion has an end at a location along the width of the tube. The internal chamber extends from the center of the tube past the location to the interior surface of the second narrow side. The tube body partially defined by the sheet of material (12, 14) having a thickness of no greater than ca. 0.15 mm. An independent claim is also included for the production of a heat exchanger tube.
