The display has an indicator unit, which stays in effective connection with the interior of a gas cylinder, where the unit is subjected to spring force. The unit generates an optical signal when a pressure value within the cylinder exceeds or falls below a specified pressure value. An installation cylinder (1) is provided with a hole (6), and a filling indicator (2) loadable by a spiral pressure spring is arranged in the cylinder (1).
