[PROBLEMS] To minimize a contamination control area in the dismantlement of a heat exchanger installed in a building for a nuclear reactor. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A method for dismantling a heat exchanger installed in a building for a nuclear reactor, comprising an introduction step of designating a partial area within a building for a nuclear reactor as a contamination control area, suspending a heat exchanger (100) in the building for a nuclear reactor by a jack down unit provided in the building for a nuclear reactor, lowering a part of the heat exchanger, and introducing the heat exchanger into the contamination control area, a first cutting step of cutting a part of the suspended heat exchanger by a first cutting unit (300) provided in a first cut area within the contamination control area to separate divided cut pieces, a transfer step of transferring the divided cut pieces from the first cut area into a second cut area within the contamination control area by a transfer unit (500), a second cutting step of chipping the transferred divided cut pieces by a second cutting unit (400) provided in the second cut area, and a carrying-out step of packing the chipped divided cut pieces into a vessel and carrying out the vessel from the contamination control area.
|
