<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the light quantity of an LED so as to perform flash photography even when the LED is made to emit light frequently. <P>SOLUTION: The previous light emission history information of the n-th LED is read from a light emission history information table stored in a memory (104). Based on light emitting time in the read light emission history information, whether or not time equal to or longer than predetermined threshold time elapses after the n-th LED is turned on previous time is determined (106). When a difference between the present time and the previous light emitting time is equal to or longer than the threshold time, a high pulse current is supplied to the n-th LED so as to make the n-th LED emit the light with high luminance (108). Meanwhile, when the time equivalent to the threshold time does not elapse after the n-th LED is turned on, whether or not the elapsed time after the previous light emitting time is equal to or longer than the threshold time is determined about the next LED 60 (112, 104 and 106). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
