PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for monitoring a hybridization in polymerase chain reaction. SOLUTION: The method for monitoring a hybridization in polymerase chain reaction involves using a high-speed thermal cycle and a double-stranded DNA dye or a specific hybridization probe. In this method, a fluorescence resonance energy pair comprises fluorescein and Cy5 or Cy5.5.
