PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for improving the maneuverability of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The steering device for a vehicle, of a steer-by-wire type, is provided with a steering shaft 22, connected to a steering wheel 21 at one end, and to a vehicle body 100 at the other end, and a steering detection means 50 disposed on the steering shaft 22 to detect a steering angle of the steering shaft 22.
