PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience for the user of a passenger conveyor while maintaining the durability of a chain by continuously operating the passenger conveyor within the range in which the durability of the chain is not affected even if it is detected that the electrical connection between an automatic oil feeder and a power supply is cut off. SOLUTION: This operation control device of the passenger conveyor comprises a power supply detection means detecting the state of the electrical connection between the oil feeder for feeding oil to the chain used in the passenger conveyor and the power supply, a counting means counting the time after the detection when the power supply detection means detects that the electrical connection between the oil feeder and the power supply is cut off, and a continuous operation permission means permitting the continuous operation of the passenger conveyor until the count value of the counting means reaches a set value.
