PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device which detects sticking-out of a small article during conveyance securely. SOLUTION: This conveyance device is provided with: an optical sensor 2 whose optical axis B is blocked off by the article sticking out from an article loading part 1: and a sensor moving means 4 for moving a sensor frame 3 to which the optical sensor 2 is attached so that the optical axis B of the optical sensor 2 moves in a detection area Z.
