PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin thread take-up bobbin of a sewing machine with excellent workability in winding a thread, capable of preventing the tread from touching a slit or from being entwined around the slit in sewing. SOLUTION: The bobbin thread take-up bobbin comprises a cylindrical bobbin thread winding cylinder part 1 and a pair of disk-shaped flange parts 2a and 2b disposed at both ends of the cylinder part 1 as a winding frame of the cylinder part 1. The flange part 2a located on the inner side of a vertical hook or horizontal hook of the sewing machine has a notch 3 with the length of the outer surface from the center in the radial direction in the range from 0.5 to 2 mm and the internal angle in the range from 0.05 to 0.15 mm of the radius. Accordingly, the thread is taken up after the excessive thread is cut while the thread is caught in the notch 3, and therefore, the working efficiency in winding the thread around the bobbin can be improved. In addition, as the notch 3 of the flange part 2a is not located on the track of taking out the bobbin thread, the thread will not be taken into the bobbin nor entwined in sewing.
