PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of a sample required for one time measurement in a gene expression analysis by using a DNA chip for reduction of the cost and labor for the same. SOLUTION: This method for performing the gene expression analysis of a sample containing≤15μg total RNA is performed by using a DNA-immobilized sample having≤100 mm2area and used in the hybridization with the sample.
