PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane rotary type air pump realizing high performance and high reliability.

SOLUTION: Adhesive 192 is applied on a bolt 191 fixing a front plate 141 and a cylinder 111 and a adhesive reservoir 193 is formed on at least one of surfaces of a cylinder 111 and a rear plate 151. Consequently, since adhesive 192 applied on a bolt 191 is prevented from leaking from a joining surface of the cylinder and the rear plate 151 to a pump space 161 side, adhesive strength can be improved while preventing increase of sliding resistance and fixing of a vane 131.
