<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment and an air conditioner, capable of transmitting infrared signal of a signal intensity suitable to the distance to a remote control at the time of transmitting the infrared signal to the remote control. <P>SOLUTION: An indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner determines, when an infrared signal transmitted from the remote control 50 is received by a receiving part 19, the signal intensity of the received infrared signal by a signal intensity determination part 20. When infrared signal is transmitted from the indoor unit 1 to the remote control 50, the signal intensity of the infrared signal to be transmitted from a transmitting part 18 is adjusted according to the determination result in the signal intensity determination part 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
