OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device capable of reducing a surface pressure received by a chest part of an occupant.

SOLUTION: The occupant crash protection device 1 is provided with a restriction member 3 made of cloth for restricting the occupant R sitting on a seat 2; and a retractor 4 for winding the restriction member 3. The restriction member 3 has an approximately rectangular restriction part 3a for covering an upper body of the occupant R at both sides of a center in a width direction of the seat 2. The retractor 4 is constituted such that it is built-in on an upper part of the seat 2 and the restriction member 3 is drawn out along a height direction of the seat 2. The retractor 4 has a storage port 4a for storing the restriction member 3. The storage port 4a is formed to a slit shape extending in a width direction of the seat 2. Buckles 5 are built-in at both right and left sides of the seat 2 respectively. Further, tangs 6 attached/detached relative to the buckles 5 are mounted to the restriction member 3 respectively.
