<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which can perform a printing with a higher resolution than a resolution of an LED head (LED element density) and can be manufactured without preparing a complicated LED head controlling system. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus is an apparatus equipped with four LED heads 22 which form an electrostatic latent image on a specific photo-conductor drum and in which the distance between adjoining LED elements is D, and the positions in the apparatus shift in the length direction by D/4, and a controlling part which can control respective LED heads 22 so that the electrostatic latent image with the resolution of 1/D can be formed on respective photo-conductor drum so as to print a monochromatic image expressed by the monochromatic image data on a paper based on the monochromatic image data with the resolution of 4/D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
