PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tractor capable of efficiently repeating gear change travel by switching forward/backward travel while reducing driver's fatigue without needing troublesome gear change operation in starting a machine body. SOLUTION: This tractor is constituted to start the machine body by operating a toroidal transmission 5 to gradually increase a speed from a stop speed to the direction of switching operation on the basis of the switching operation to a forward travel position or a backward travel position of the forward/backward travel switching lever 26.
