PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device in which the bent portion of a cable for transmitting detection signals detected by an object detection part is protected. SOLUTION: An object on the closing side more than the opening/closing body 10 opened and closed by sliding is detected by the object detection part 14d integrated with the opening/closing body 10. The detection signal is transmitted to the opening side of the opening/closing body through the cable 4 allowed to move forward and backward in the opening/closing directions of the opening/closing body as the opening/closing body 10 is opened and closed. The cable 14d4 is guided to the object detection part 14d in the opening direction of the opening/closing body and further guided by bending it in the direction crossing perpendicular to the opening direction of the opening/closing body.
