CEMENT ADMIXTURE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture which has a high water reducing ratio and slump retaining property. SOLUTION: The cement admixture comprises as a main ingredient thereof, a copolymer derived from general formulas (2), (3) and other monomers copolymerizable with the same in a specific ratio or a salt of the copolymer. In the general formula (2), R4represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, R5O represents an oxyethylene group, R6represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-22 carbon atoms and (n) represents the average addition number of moles of the oxyethylene group and an integer in the range of 4-100. In general formula (3), R7represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, M1represents hydrogen atom, a monovalent metal atom, a divalent metal atom, an ammonium group or an organic amine group.
