PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a cardboard and a thick paper such as corrugated board in a flat condition. SOLUTION: This paper conveyance device is constituted in such a way that a plurality of suction belts 6 provided with many suction holes 7 in a row in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of adhesive conveyance belts 8 having an adhesive surface are alternately arranged in the direction of width in a paper conveyance region 4 for conveying paper, a suction tank 9 is provided on a lower side in the paper conveyance region of the suction belts and the adhesive conveyance belts, opening holes 10 corresponding to a row of suction holes of at least suction belts are provided in the suction tank, and a pressing roller 18 is provided in the uppermost stream part in the paper conveyance region.
