PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of preventing a wiper shaft from rotating beyond a dead point of a link mechanism if a load in a rotary direction is applied. SOLUTION: A DR-side pivot holder 17a is fixed to a vehicle body at mounting legs 18a-18c, and a DR-side wiper shaft 14a mounted to the DR-side wiper arm is rotatably supported by a DR-side pivot holder 17a. Also, a DR-side driving lever 48a is fixed to a base end of the DR-side wiper shaft 14a, and the DR-side driving lever 48a is connected with a wiper motor via the link mechanism. A stopper 61 projecting downward is installed to the mounting leg 18b, and a load in a rotary direction is applied to the DR-side wiper shaft 14a, so that the DR-side driving lever 48a moving toward the dead point beyond a predetermined range is brought into contact with the stopper 61 so as to restrain further movement.
