The invention relates to a connecting element (1) , comprising a supply tube (3) of a valve (2) of a container for containing liquid under pressure, and a discharge pipe (5) connecting to the supply tube (3) for liquid emerging from the supply tube (3) wherein one of the tubes extends until within the other the tube, and wherein the tubes contact each other within a sealing area, and wherein at least one of the tubes comprises an at least partially spheric surface at a location of the sealing area, wherein at least one of the tubes comprises an at least partially spherical surface, and that the other tube comprises a cylindrical surface. As a consequence of these features, the shape of one of the surfaces is a lot simpler, so that also with a simpler and cheaper machining a sufficiently high accuracy can be reached, and therewith an effective seal can be reached.
