Provided are an oscillation circuit and a power source circuit, which can be packaged in a display panel without inviting an increase in cost while needing no adjusting work, and a display device and an electronic device using those circuits. The oscillation circuit comprises a pulse generation unit (161) formed of an oscillator for outputting a rectangular-wave signal having a frequency dispersion, and a frequency dispersion correcting unit (162) for suppressing the output rectangular waves of the pulse generation unit (161) within a frequency range, and for outputting the suppressed output rectangular wave to a booster circuit (163). The frequency dispersion correcting unit (162) includes an input pulse counter (1621) having an n-number of counters connected in tandem, for counting the numbers of high-level and low-level periods of the rectangular waves inputted for a comparison input period from the pulse generation unit (161), a counter value comparing logic circuit (1622) for generating, when the input pulse counter counts an arbitrary value, a selection signal for selecting the final output from arbitrary one of the counters connected in tandem, and an output selection circuit (1623) responding to the selection signal for outputting a corresponding counter value.
