NON-AQUEOUS-ELECTROLYTE AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

A non-aqueous electrolytic liquid and a lithium secondary battery using the same are provided to improve the stability upon overcharging even without sacrificing the performances of battery. The non-aqueous electrolytic liquid comprises a lithium salt and an electrolytic compound, wherein the non-aqueous electrolytic liquid comprises fluorobiphenyl and fluorotoluene as additives. In particular, the fluorobiphenyl is contained in an amount of 0.1-3 wt% and the fluorotoluene is contained in an amount of 3-10 wt%, each being based on the total weight of the non-aqueous electrolytic liquid. Preferably, the fluorobiphenyl is any one of compounds represented by the chemical formula 1a and the chemical formula 1b, and the fluorotoluene is any one of compounds represented by the chemical formula 2, wherein X is fluor(F), each of k, l, m and n is the same or different and n is an integer of 1-5.
