<p>The invention concerns a lamp holder for light bulbs with enhanced child safety, consisting of an outer tubular-shaped part, consisting of an electrical socket, and an inner fastener in which a light bulb is intended to be screwed in and out of. The inner fastener is axially displaceable in the outer tubular-shaped part between a position of enhanced child safety, in which the inner fastener is able to rotate in relation to the outer tubular-shaped part, and a position where the inner fastener is locked in relation to the outer tubular-shaped part. The invention by way of its design gives rise to a considerable improvement in child safety compared with ordinary lamp armatures. The lamp holder greatly decreases the possibility for children to come into direct contact with the current carrying parts of a lamp armature and thanks to the invention's ventilation characteristics heat accumulation in the lamp holder and on the surface of the light bulb is reduced, which should lessen the extent of possible burn injuries from unintentional skin contact.</p> |
