<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "an imaging apparatus with an image resizing function and an image display system" capable of capitalizing on merits of high resolution applied to an image sensor even when a present NTSC signal or the like is used for a transmission means of an image to a display apparatus and acquiring an image part required by the display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10 includes: an image sensor 12; a storage means 17 for storing a table for specifying a mode of resizing in advance depending on a type of an image being an object of an acquisition request; and a control means 15. The control means 15 refers to the table in response to an external image request signal RQ, converts an output image size in matching with a required resolution depending on the resizing mode corresponding to the type of the image instructed by the image request signal RQ and provides an output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
