<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery in which a short circuit can be made more surely between electrodes if it is crushed by an external force and therefore its safety is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The center pin 30 is inserted into a center of a rolled part which is formed by winding a laminated layer of a cathode and an anode with a separator in between. The center pin 30 is composed of two or more, preferably, two or three of divided parts 31 in a longitudinal direction. Each of the divided parts is of a cylindrical shape and has a cut line 32 in a longitudinal direction. If the battery is crushed by an external force, an end part 31A of the divided part 31, the cut line 32 and a cornered part 31C where the end part 31A and the cut line 32 are crossed, and the like are extruded to make a short circuit without fail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
