<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus that interrupts power supply to a power supply circuit by a simple operation irrespective of the operation of a wall socket, with a power supply plug connected into the wall socket. <P>SOLUTION: The electric apparatus includes an air conditioner main unit 100 that has the power supply circuit 3, which supplies electric power to a main unit control device 4, using electric power given from the main unit control device 4, which controls an operation state and an external power supply via the power supply plug 1, and a remote control portion 200, which instructs the operation state of the air conditioner main unit 100 by remote control. The remote control portion 200 has an interruption instruction means that instructs the interruption of the power supply to the air conditioner main unit 100 to the main unit control device 4.
