PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a trouble that refrigerator oil stored inside of a hermetic vessel of an electric compressor is discharged to an outside of the hermetic vessel together with flow of refrigerant gas circulating in refrigerating air conditioning cycle to cause a failure of the electric compressor, and that efficiency of refrigerating air conditioning cycle extremely drops. SOLUTION: A dent 7 is provided on a tip part of a shaft 4 connecting a motor part 3 and a compression mechanism part 2, a delivery pipe 5 is arranged in or above the dent 7, the dent has a shape provided with inclination on a wall surface, and a through hole is provided on a bottom part to accelerate discharge of refrigerator oil from the dent. Consequently, a section of lean refrigerant gas having refrigerator oil mixed therein is formed in a circumference part of a suction port 6 of the delivery pipe 5 at a time of operation of the electric compressor in the hermetic vessel.
