摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector which can obtain a favorable sensor signal by reducing noise components superposed on the sensor signal, and to provide a pressure detection method. SOLUTION: In detecting a pressure of a pressure chamber using a capacitive pressure sensor 59 which has a first electrode and a second electrode, and outputs a first sensor signal from the first electrode and a second sensor signal reversed in polarity from the first sensor signal from the second electrode, on the basis of an impedance (electrostatic capacity) of the pressure sensor 59, a phase difference generated between the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal obtained from the pressure sensor 59 is compensated, and differential amplification processing is carried out to the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal by a differential amplification processing part 212.
