PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jaws for a vise, which jaws can reduce the number of working processes while preventing the insufficient machining for a workpiece and the damage of a machining tool (for example, an end mill) or the jaws of the vise when both ends of the workpiece are machined, and further to provide a vise device. SOLUTION: In the jaws 2, 2 for the vise, one side ends of cylindrical pins 31, 31, ... are attached to mounting holes 2a, 2a, ... on gripping surfaces 21, 21. The jaws 2, 2 are provided on gripping pieces 11, 12 of the vise device 1 by opposing the gripping surfaces 21, 21 to each other. The other side ends of the respective pins 31 are projected from the gripping surfaces 21. Workpieces W, W are gripped between the opposed pins 31, 31 by approaching the gripping pieces 11, 12. Because the pins 31, 31 operate as spacers between the workpiece W and the gripping surface 21, the end mill 6 does not come into contact with the gripping surfaces 21 even when the workpiece W is machined in the neighborhood of the gripping surfaces 21.
