PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the tip bend in a cold pilger mill. SOLUTION: In the method for preventing the tip bend in the cold pilger mill, by this method for preventing the tip bend in the cold pilger mill, the bend defect at the tip of a product is prevented by attaching an auxiliary mandrel to the tip of a mandrel, inserting the auxiliary mandrel into an accurately pressing die or an out pawl without deviating the tip of the product from the pass line. In this method for preventing the tip bend in the cold pilger mill, the auxiliary mandrel is set to a length passing through the accurately pressing die or the out pawl from the tip of the mandrel.
