PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack repairing method capable of feeding the sufficient amount of materials to a part to be repaired, and reducing a mechanical load on a rotating tool to be used in friction stir welding. SOLUTION: The crack repairing method comprises: (A) a step of feeding a filler metal 5 in a molten state to a part in the vicinity of a crack 2 in a base material 1; and (B) a step of repairing the crack 2 by performing the friction stir welding to the part of the base material 1 where the filler metal 5 is fed.
