PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leakage of water and air associated with the coming off or bursting of piping or others as caused by a rise in the water and/or air pressures on the downstream side from a pressure reducing valve attributed to the break down of the pressure reducing valve or the like as provided in a water supply/drain box. SOLUTION: A dental treatment unit 3 is provided with a water circuit I for supplying pressurized water to a dental treatment instrument and an air circuit II. The water circuit I (as well as the air circuit II) has a water source solenoid valve 11 for receiving or shutting down the water from a pressurized water source, the pressure reducing valve 12 for reducing the pressure of the water passing through the water source solenoid valve 11 and a water-pressure detection sensor 13 for detecting the pressure of the water passing through the pressure reducing valve 12. When the water-pressure detection sensor 13 detects the pressure of the water exceeding the predetermined pressure as passing through the pressure reducing valve 12, the water source solenoid valve 11 is closed.
