Disclosed are novel curable diamantane compounds such as 4,9-bis(glycidyloxy)diamantane and 4,9-bis[(3-ethyloxethane-3-yl)methyloxy]diamantane. Cured products of such curable diamantane compounds are useful as sealing material having excellent light resistance and heat resistance, and suitably used, for example, as sealing material for near ultraviolet LEDs and white LEDs.
