<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect promptly internal short circuit of batteries as well as to judge correctly the length of life of batteries simply and easily without limiting use conditions of batteries. <P>SOLUTION: In the judging technique for length of life of batteries, by forcing a battery to pulse-charge or pulse-discharge, the cell voltage waveform from charge or discharge is measured and the voltage variation gradient (ΔV/Δt) is also measured indicating variation of the cell voltage waveform in unit time, so as to judge the length of battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
